The dried apricots of our company are supplied from the orchards of East Azarbaijan province in Iran, where the highest quality apricots in the world are grown. Nutex dried apricots have ISO22000, ISO9001, COSHER, IFS and other quality certificates and are offered in global markets without reducing quality.

Iranian quality dried apricots are offered to buyers in different countries in 1-5-12.5 kg carton boxes.

Iran is the second producer of apricots in the world

Iran is the second producer of dried apricots and majority of the products are coming from East Azarbaijan  region. These moist and chewy apricots are one of the most popular and well known dried fruits in the world. Dried apricots from ]قشد are well-known for their dry material content, ranging from 24 to 30%, well above the dried apricots from other regions at 20%.

There are two types of dried apricots produced, sulphured dried apricots and natural unsulphured apricots. Sulphured one is treated with sulphur dioxide (SO2) during the drying process to increase its durability. It has a yellow-orange color. Natural Dried Apricots dry under the sun and have dark brown color. These dried apricots are more tasty and sweeter comparing to sulphured apricots but they are less durable because chemicals (mainly sulphur) are not used during production.
