Nutex Malayeri Raisin – Sultana Raisins – Iranian Raisins

This type of Sulphured raisin is almost the same as Sultana raisins. However, the main difference is its lighter color. It also contains low amounts of sulphur. It is originally produced in Malayer City in Hamedan Province in Iran, and takes its name from this city. It should be noted that although Malayeri type is lighter in color, it contains less sugar and is not as sweet as Sultana.

The light color sultana raisins are known as “Malayer” due to their lighter color. Dried grapes with lighter color are sorted by laser machines and marinated with allowed level of CO2 (less than 5 ppm) to get a shining light color. The taste is quiet sharper than dark sultana. Malayer/Light sultana raisins are light brown color gained from seedless grape variety. Malayeri raisisns with their specific taste are tending to be much plumper, sweeter, and altogether juicier than other raisins. The process of drying and SO2 treatment makes the color and taste differ from dark sultana. This is one of the best seller products from Iran with the certain processing procedure. After being double washed, sultana raisins are dried, coated with vegetable oil, stemmed, mechanically cleaned, laser and hand sorted then metal detected under the extreme care of hygienic conditions and with legal and safety requirements and the customer’s specific specifications. We may sort your demanding products in terms of color and size with our high-tech machines. Moisture is around 14 to 16% upon the customer’s order. We pack this product in 5 kg,10 kg and 12.5 kg cartons. The cartons may be plain white or brown color or printed with our brand or your brand.
